SUBWING UNDERWATER TOWABLE BOARD - BLUE FLAME
The Subwing is a new, towable underwater sport suitable for all water enthusiasts. It’s fun for children and adults alike and requires no particular skills apart from being comfortable in open water. All you need to get started is a Subwing, a tow rope, diving mask and of course a boat. Once up and running, you’ll be able to experience the wonders of flying underwater.
Experience the incredible sensation of underwater flight!
Discover the underwater marine world while gliding through the water like a dolphin, perform thrilling underwater acrobatics, or just relax on the surface and enjoy the ride.
The Subwing completely reinvents the way we explore and interacts with the ocean and its marine life. It’s the ultimate watersport board that every water junkie needs to experience!
How it works
The Subwing consists of two wings mounted together which can be tilted independently of each other. A boat tows it at a slow and gentle pace, while it’s maneuvered by tilting the wings in different angles. You simply hang on to the wings by your arms and steer by pointing the wings in the direction you want to go. Tilt both wings downwards to dive and upwards to resurface. A roll is achieved by tilting the wings in opposite directions.
Yes, it’s that simple!
Easy to master for everyone
Controlling this watersport board isn’t just incredibly intuitive and easy to learn. It’s also not that physically demanding, which makes the Subwing suitable not only for the thrill-seeking athlete, but for everyone at almost any age that love being in the water.
You don’t need to be able to hold you breath for a long time in order to enjoy the Subwing. Only a few seconds underwater for each dive is sufficient for a great experience. You can also choose to stay at the surface and watch the underwater world go by beneath you.
A towable for any motorized boat
The Subwing is attached behind any type of motorboat and towed at a comfortable and safe speed of 2-4 knots. Because of the slow towing speed, a small boat with a less powerful engine will have no problem towing the Subwing.
Use it with your sailboat, dinghy, fishing boat, jet ski or any kind of motorized watercraft!
Ultimate squad goal?
Depending on the boat size, multiple persons can be towed simultaneously, making the whole experience even more fun!
Invite your friends and family for a Subwing session!
Tip: Experienced riders can even ride tandem on a single Subwing!
Unleash your inner dolphin
Ramp up the thrill factor by flying close to the sand bottom, attempting a roll or flying upside down. Get creative and try different riding styles and invent new tricks.
It’s only your imagination that limits the amount of acrobatics you can perform on the Subwing!

What speed is recommended? 2-4 knots is the optimum speed, it might not sound fast, but under water it’s a thrill!
How does one equalize ear pressure? The rear rope grip is designed so the subwing can be operated by one hand. Use this grip when pressure equalization is necessary.
How deep is it possible to dive? The depth is limited by the rope length and your breath holding capabilities, but depths about 10 meters is achievable with some training. Take in account that with deeper depths, the risk of drowning considerably increases. Never attempt a deep dive without proper experience and confidence with the subwing.
Can I tow a subwing behind a jetski? Yes, nearly all watercrafts with an engine can tow the Subwing. Take extra precautions when towing with a watercraft powered by a powerful engine.
